Information is multi-directional, yet sometimes our processes act like information only moves in one direction. In some workflows, information is almost seen as a straight line. The thing about information is that it can be in multiple places at the same time and being used in completely different ways. Managing information as a forward progression does a major disservice to the richness of information.
