Unnatural Communication
Communication is not something that comes naturally. It is a learned behavior. There are standards for communication, but there is also wide variation in communication styles and capabilities.
There is continuum of communication between:
- Direct and indirect.
- Explicit and implied.
- Clarity and ambiguity.
Some individuals and organizations have more effective communication capabilities and styles than others.
A lot of variables determine the communication culture of an organization, but it is real and it makes a real difference in the effectiveness of an organization.
