The Breakdown Lane

The breakdown is the breakdown.

It is always this way. The way that you divide work is the way that you divide work.

When we create our work breakdown structure which is often do intuitively, we are unwittingly setting up our points of failure.

It is the overlaps, the interfaces, and embedded assumptions that cause a lot of the problems.

Regardless of the field, handoffs are difficult. How much information needs to be part of the handoff. Too little and there are problems, but too much causes other problems.
