Independent Data
Is any data truly independent?
It seems that all data is dependent on prior data. You need data to make data. While there must be some sort data day zero where there was no information, it is difficult to imagine what that world looks like.
It seems true that information builds over time. There are foundations of information, but the foundations are not absolute.
The path of information is circuitous and that is the beauty and frustrating thing about information. It is not linear the same data can take multiple paths and be interpreted very differently.
Looking at data independently is a path toward innovation, not necessarily toward clarity and efficiency.
