Every bit of information goes through these phases. Sometimes the phases are a split second and sometimes the process goes on for years.
Every individual and every organization processes inputs to differently and there are many variables.
Standardizing this process wouldn't necessarily add value, but consciously knowing that this is happening can be enough to bring clarity to situations.
